Children's Ministry
Mission Statement
Teaching children to discover the message of love and salvation evident throughout Scripture, guiding them to live out that message in their own lives, and equipping families to fortify each child's faith by living a rooted life in the Word.
Using an engaging and multi-sensory approach to teaching the Bible, we aim to guide and nurture our Pre-K Acorns as they grow to become 5th Grade Oaks! Children will experience the stories of the Bible through multiple lenses as they rotate through a different specialty class each Sunday.

Storytelling: Our Storyteller Guide will bring the Bible to life through stories, puppets, and other engaging methods.

Temple Workshop: Our Temple Guide will tell each story through a lens of history and geography, highlighting the places and customs of the Bible.
​
Hands-On: Our Activities Guide will help children explore the stories of the Bible through hands-on crafts and games.
​
Music and Memory: Our Song Master will use various song and wordplay activities to help children commit the lessons of the Bible to heart.

Mighty Oaks: Our “Music” rotation for our oldest students will be more of a devotional time, dedicated to worship, deeper discussion, and application of what we’ve been learning.
​
Arborists: Each age group will have a dedicated “Arborist” ‒ an adult Guide who will stay with them each week through each rotation. Arborists will build relationships with the children in their group and guide them as they learn and grow.
Oakdale Orchard: Sunday Morning Program
Attended Nursery
We have an attended nursery available during our worship service. This is for families with children from 3 months through 2 years old.
Children's Worship
We offer Children's Worship every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. This is available to families with children age 3 through 2nd grade.
Nursing Mother's Room
Our Nursing Mother's Room is located on the south side of the Worship Center, between the women's bathroom and the auditorium.
