ABOUT US
The vision for the Church of Christ at Oakdale began in 2006. Through a lot of prayers and hard work, we launched as a church plant of Memorial Road Church of Christ in March 2010, then held our first worship service at the Oakdale School in Edmond on October 10, 2010. Over a decade since God allowed a faithful band of Christians to dream of the Church of Christ at Oakdale, we continue to seek to know The Savior more intimately; conforming to his death, and experiencing his resurrection.
If you want to know more about God; If you are a broken individual in desperate need of a savior; if you have found that you cannot save yourself; if you would like to choose to pursue God more intimately, we invite you to join us on our journey here at Oakdale.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
That Jesus Christ is the one and only sacrifice for our sins and He rose from the dead. (1st Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16)

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God - a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 119:10)

That every person is created in the image of God and has worth, but also that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and are in need of redemption. (Romans 3:23)
That freedom, the forgiveness of sins, and the promise of eternal life is available to all those who put their trust in Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)

That those who want to follow Christ will repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him for the forgiveness of sins. (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)

The church is the Body of Christ on earth, is empowered by the Holy Spirit, and exists to save the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

Jesus Christ will one day return to take God’s children to be with Him forever! (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
